MUZAFFARGARH: Civil Lines police have arrested a man for impersonating an army official on Sunday.

Station House Officer Javed Akhtar told the media that the suspect, Amir, would introduced himself as an army officer to the police and district administration officials and pressurise them for getting favours.

He said that on suspicion his identity was verified and he turned out to be an impersonator.

He said the man had been arrested.
