KARACHI: Naegleria fowleri, or brain-eating amoeba, claimed the life of a 21-year-old student on Saturday.

Anas Aslam, resident of Orangi Town, admitted to Ward-6 of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, died from naegleria-related complications during treatment.
