DERA GHAZI KHAN: Peshawar-bound Khushhal Khan Khattak Express train on Saturday came under firing near Shah Wali police station, Rujhan tehsil, while the passengers remained safe, sources told Dawn.

When contacted, Rujhan Mazari Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jan Muhammad confirmed the incident occurred near Shah Wali, while the passengers remained safe as bullets hit some of the coaches.

He said the police had launched a search operation to arrest the unidentified attackers.
