Bilawal Bhutto terms govt's decision not to attend OIC 'unfortunate'

PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed the government's decision not to attend the OIC meeting as "unfortunate", saying: "Important international forums must be engaged at this critical time."

The government took the decision not to attend the 46th session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers after the parliament passed a resolution — signed by PPP among other parties — demanding that Pakistan abstain completely [from the meeting] as a protest against "India an egregious aggressor against Pakistan as well as Kashmiri people" being invited as a guest of honour.
