PPP Senator Sherry Rehman has lauded the armed forces' response to India's LoC violation but urged the government to go on a "diplomatic offensive", instead of issuing "meek statements".

"It is unfair to hear that a violation of LoC by India is being propagated as a counter-terrorism operation. Our diplomatic response has been slow. We don't lack capable diplomats so they should raise [the matter of] India's offensive tactics [at every platform]." — Sherry Rehman
