KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Friday that Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC) has been made a member of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) as a measure to bring stability in the financial system of the country.

The DPC is the 84th member of the global body of deposit insurers whose objective is to contribute to the enhancement of deposit insurance effectiveness and safety by promoting guidance and international cooperation.
