IT is rather surprising that our worthy courts have permitted some rich accused of corruption or other offences to go abroad for medical treatment without asking for details of estimated expenditure and source of forex.

The courts may now please consider permission to call foreign doctors and necessary equipment for treatment here instead of sending suspects or prisoners abroad for medical treatment with illegal money.
