ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has ordered former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak to deposit Rs1.3 million within 10 days as reimbursement to the provincial exchequer for getting published an advertisement in newspapers, which carried his photograph, out of government funds when he was the KP’s chief executive.

The additional advocate general had told a three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, that Pervez Khattak was ready to pay the amount out of his own pocket.
