LAHORE: A two-member Pakistan squad left here for Mongolia on Wednesday to participate in the Asian Classic Powerlifting Championship being held there from Dec 5 to 10.

The squad contains lifter Mustafa Faran Baig (93kg, sub-junior category) and head coach Rashed Malik.

Other countries participating in the continental event include Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, India, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman and hosts Mongolia.
