HYDERABAD: The Sindh Taraqqi-pasand Party has said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government has failed to bring about any qualitative change in its first 100 days in power.

The party’s central committee which met here on Saturday with its chief organiser Jam Abdul Fatah Samejo in the chair resolved that PTI government lacked capability to take decisions and dispense justice.

The meeting said the government’s gift of the first three months was unusual rise in inflation caused by hike in rates of fuel and electricity. The meeting criticised the performance of Sindh government and said focus of government’s efforts was on Anvar Majeed and Sharjeel Memon. It was trying to cut a deal with the federal government by not raising demand for Sindh’s due share in water and new National Finance Commission award, said the meeting.

The meeting decided to organise a rally in Karachi on Nov 25 to protest against construction of dams on the Indus and settlement of “outsiders” in Sindh. The rally would start from Quaid’s mausoleum and conclude at the press club, it said.
