Dutch govt offers temporary shelter to Aasia’s lawyer

AMSTERDAM: The Netherland government has offered temporary shelter to the Pakistani lawyer who helped free Aasia Bibi, who was sentenced to death in a blasphemy case, but later acquitted by the Supreme Court.

Saiful Mulook was on Thursday offered to stay in the country for several months, a spokesman for the foreign ministry said. Mr Mulook arrived in the country on Saturday after being forced to flee for his life.
