KARACHI: Atlas Honda Limited (AHL) has raised prices of its two-wheeler variants by Rs1,000 – 3,000 for fifth time in the current year.

The uptick in prices comes after the recent bout of depreciation and an increase in production input prices.

Effective from Nov 7, the CD70cc variant will cost Rs66,900 as against Rs65,900 while CD-Dream, Pridor and CB150F will be available at Rs70,900, 92,400 and Rs 179,000 as compared to Rs 69,900, Rs 91,400 and Rs 176,000, respectively.

Like past practice, the company did not mention the reason of pushing up the rates. Prior to the current hike, AHL had jacked up prices in Jan by Rs500-1,000, in April by Rs500-3,000, in Aug by Rs600-5,000 and on Oct 3by Rs 400-4,000.

Atlas Honda sold 266,029 units in the first quarter of current fiscal year compared to 268,309 units last year.
