Power supply to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: Power supply will remain suspended from three to 10 hours on Oct 21, 22 and 23 in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to maintenance work on transmission lines.

According to a statement here on Friday, the power supply will remain suspended on Oct 21 and 23 from 8am to 2pm in areas, including Industrial, Express 3, Hayatabad 1, 2 and 6 and Khyber 1 and 2.

The supply will remain suspended on Oct 22 and 23 from 9am to 12 noon in Gulberg, Swati Gate and Kohat Road areas. The areas which will be affected on Oct 21 from 8:30am to 2:30pm include Karimpur, Dabgari, Chowk Yadgar, Qissa Khwani, Kohati Gate, Shoba, Kakshal, Achini 1 and 2, Hayatabad 4 and 5, Old Bara Road, Sufaid Dheri, Regi, Agriculture University, Rahatabad 1 and 2, Gharibabad, Danishabad, Engineering University, Malakander and Canal Town.

The power supply will remain suspended on Oct 23 from 8am to 2pm in Chamkani, Nistharabad, Chughulpura, Jagra, NHA, Zaryab, Faqirabad, Kohat Express, Bilitang and Gumbat.

The areas in other districts where the power supply will remain suspended on Oct 21, 22 and 23 from 8am to 2pm include Sabirabad-1 and Karak 1 and 2; Mingora 1, 2, 3 and 4, Guldada, Takhtaband, Sanger, Bandai, Haji Baba, Barikot, Marguzar, Saidu Sharif, Saidu Baba, Sinor, Qambar, Kabal, Malam Jaba, Charbagh, Khwazakhela, Shangla, Shawar, Chuprial, Matta, Chagharzai, Nawagai, Suni Gram, Ambela and Chamla.

In Chukiatan and Wari areas of Lower Dir, the power supply will remain suspended on Oct 22 from 7am to 5pm, while in New Marghuz, Marghuz Rural, Panjpir, Zaida and Chota Lahor the supply will remain suspended on Oct 21 from 8am to 2pm.
