ALMOST in every newspaper, irrespective of language, government ads containing corrigendum appear for various reasons. It has been observed that in many cases it is for departmental mistakes that these corrigendums appear.

Nowadays Prime Minister Imran Khan is putting greater emphasis on austerity measures to cut government expenditure. He should thus take cognizance of the matter and direct the relevant ministries to punish the delinquent persons, and recovery be made from them if found negligent.
