Finance Division implements e-office programme

ISLAMABAD: The Finance Division has implemented e-office programme to make officials efficient and improve their performance.

Nearly 250 wings have been connected through e-office.

Secretary Finance Arif Ahmad Khan, while inaugurating the e-office system on Wednesday, called upon the officers to master e-office skills and benefit from the automated system.

He also stressed complete digitization of records on priority basis. Implementation of the programme shall facilitate institutional reforms and help improve performance, he said.

While appreciating the contribution of the National Information Technology Board (NITB) and the Finance Ministry’s team, Mr Khan expressed the hope that the implementation of the e-office program at Finance Division would serve as a good example for other divisions to follow.
