Pakistan team wishes early recovery to Zaheer Abbas

ABU DHABI: Pakistan cricket team, led by skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, on Monday sent a message to legendary batsman Zaheer Abbas wishing him good health

Pakistan team manager Talat Ali, who played alongside Zaheer in Tests as well as in PIA, issued the message on the team’s behalf which said: “We are shocked to hear that Zaheer has been hospitalised with heart ailment. But we are pleased to know that he is fine, recovering well and has left the hospital.”

and speedy recovery after he went through heart surgery in a Karachi hospital recently.

“On behalf of the entire team we wish him well and pray for his well being and good health.”

Zaheer Abbas remains the only batsman in Asia to have scored over hundred first-class centuries. No other player from the Sub-Continent including Sunil Gavaskar, Javed Miandad or Sachin Tendulkar enjoy this distinction in the game.
