GUJAR KHAN: Four people were killed in two separate incidents in the jurisdiction of the Gujar Khan police station on Wednesday, the police said.

A rickshaw driver got angry while overtaking a tractor driven by residents of his village on the Buchial Link Road. He started arguing with the five people travelling on the tractor, went home and asked some relatives to come with him to fight with them.

According to the police, the man and his accomplices opened fire on those riding in the tractor.

Fazal Karim, Naveed and Mohammad Jameel died on the spot while Shakeel and Naeem were injured. They were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and the alleged killers have managed to escape.

In a separate incident, a young man is said to have killed his sister apparently in the name of honour in the Pandora village. The police have registered a case against the accused.
