QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, on Friday arrested a former manager of the United Bank Limited for his alleged involvement in misappropriation of Rs56.055 million.

The NAB had filed a reference after completing investigation into the scam. Suspect Dost Muhammad Nasar, who was manager at the UBL’s Meezan Chowk branch in Quetta, was on the run until an intelligence team of NAB rounded him up during a raid conducted at a place on the outskirts of the city on Friday.

The suspect was sent to jail on judicial remand.
