KARACHI: A total of 37 candidates have filed their nomination papers against Sindh Assembly’s PS-111 (Karachi South) constituency vacated by Imran Ismail to become the Sindh Governor.

The by-election is scheduled for Oct 21.

According to the returning officer, Zaheer Ahmad Sehto, 37 candidates have filed their nomination papers. Prominent among them are PTI’s Adnan Ismail, MQM-P’s Syed Mujahid Rasool, PPP’s Ashfaq Memon, PSP’s Yasir and rights activist Muhammad Jibran Nasir.
