KHANEWAL: Robbers shot dead a medical store owner here on Sunday in Abdul Hakeem Town.

Saeed Butt, president of chemist and druggist association, was present at his shop when two motorcyclists, one of them wearing a mask, entered the store and demanded cell phone and cash. Saeed tried to duck but the suspects opened fire. He succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

Saeed was former administrator of market committee and a local leader of PML-N. Police have shifted the body for autopsy.
