Probe ordered into DC’s misbehaviour

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has formed an inquiry committee to investigate an incident where deputy commissioner Charsadda misbehaved with citizens.

A statement issued from the chief minister secretariat here on Saturday said that the chief minister had constituted an inquiry committee to probe the misbehaviour and derogatory attitude of Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Mian Abdul Qadir Shah with citizens in his office, footage of which went viral on social media.

He said that the committee comprising Mukhtiar Ahmed, director Staff Training Institute, and Ghazanfar Ali, director Human Rights KP, had been tasked with probing the circumstances behind the happening.

The committee will submit report by Monday.
