KARACHI: Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed XI beat Major Shabbir Sharif XI 36-22 on Thursday to win the Defence Day kids basketball festival match here at the KPT ground.

The match was held under the auspices of Nasir Basketball Academy in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Association.

For the winners, Mohammad Saad (10 points), Daniyal Khan (8 points) and Zaid Khan (7 points) were the main scorers.

For the losing side, Obaid Khan and Mohammad Hasan scored 8 points each while Zain Ali scored 6 points.

Syed Baseer Alam, GM Sports KPT, was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed the prizes and trophies.
