LAHORE: The Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has become the first healthcare institution in the public sector to get exemption from payment of sales tax on gas and electricity bills.

The departments concerned have issued notifications in this regard, said LGH/Amiruddin Medical College Principal Prof Muhammad Tayyab on Monday.
