THE dialysis centre in Naushahro Feroze is situated at DHQ hospital with 12 dialysis machines in a separate building. The district government established this centre in 2009-10.

It is not serving the purpose it was established for. I suggest it should be affiliated with the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplant (SIUT), Karachi, having an online medical care facility like SIUT, Sukkur.

Patients in suffering from kidney ailments face hardships because of lack of medical facilities. The poor patients cannot afford to visit Karachi or Sukkur SIUT centres for treatment.

These patients should be provided dialysis facility at Naushahro Feroze, for the dialysis centre there has not been working properly.

I urge Dr Adibul Hasan Rizvi to establish an online link between the Naushahro Feroze dialysis centre and SIUT Karachi for diagnosis and consultation.

If this dialysis centre works under Dr Rizvi’s supervision, it can be huge service to the people of Naushahro Feroze.
