Power supply to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended from three to six hours on Aug 26 (Sunday) and 27 in Peshawar and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to maintenance work on transmission lines.

According to a statement, power supply will remain suspended on Aug 26 from 7am to 12 noon in Landi Arbab, Deh Bahadar, Kohat Road, Peshatakhara, Sheikh Mohammadi, Bara and Dora Road areas.

The consumers will face inconvenience on Aug 27 from 7am to 12 noon in other areas, including PAF, Mall Road, Saddar Road, Kohati Gate, Qissa Khwani, Kareempura, Chowk Yadgar, Dabgari, Shoba, Kakshal, CKK, MES, LRH, Deans, Nishtarabad, Chughalpura, NHA, Molvi Jee, Hashtnagri, Gulbahar, HMC, Regi, Hayatabad 2, 4 and 5, University Campus, Gulabad, Tajabad, Kacha Garhi and Karkhano.

However, in areas of Sonehri Masjid, Fort Jail, Nauthia, C/Quarter, New Kohat Road and KTH the power supply will remain suspended on the same day from 9am to 12 noon.

The timing of power suspension in the areas of Yosufzai, Villege-1 RMC, Villege-2 RBC, Kalabat, Topi, Batakar and Minai will be from 8am to 2pm.

In Lower Dir, the power supply will remain suspended in Timargara, Lal Qila, Toormang, Akakhel, Mayar, Daushkhel, Qazafi, Ghar Shamozai, Ghazi Baba, Warsak and Samarbagh from 7am to 1pm the same day.

In Swat, the consumers of Marghzar, Mingora, Takhta Band, Singar, Bandai, Haji Baba, Saidu Baba, Saidu Sharif, Qamber, Kabal, Gokadra, Malam Jaba and Barikot will face power suspension from 7am to 1pm.
