A FEW months ago the main Britto Road and adjoining streets and lanes were carpeted and all speed breakers removed a few days before the visit of a visiting dignitary.

After their reconstruction, the speed breaker near Khorasan Masjid that was re-erected is very low in height, and vehicular traffic does not stop and goes towards Soldier Bazar No. 3 Signal at high speed. The pedestrians have to struggle to cross the road.
