Wrong tooth

RECENTLY, I took a female patient who had excruciating pain in one of her teeth to the District Headquarters Hospital, D. I. Khan. A dental surgeon checked the offending tooth which was found to be decayed. The surgeon prescribed a tooth extraction and referred the patient to the technicians.

The technicians extracted a healthy tooth instead of the decayed one. We submitted a complaint to the head of the hospital and he ordered an enquiry within twenty-four hours.

It has been three days and no enquiry has been conducted. I do not know why they are delaying it but it might be to help the culprits avoid punishment. I ask the authorities to take strict action.
