Power supply to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended from five to six hours in Peshawar on Aug 13 and 15 due to maintenance work on its transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Thursday, the power supply would remain suspended from 7am to 1pm, affecting the consumers in Pajagi, Nishat, Bashirabad, Shahi Bagh-II, Industrial, Benazir Woman University, Pir Bala, Apozai and Chagharmati area.

The consumers of CAA, PAF, MES-2, Mall Road, Saddar Road and Sonehri Masjid will face inconvenience because of power suspension on Aug 12 and 15, while those in Nishtarabad, Lala, NHA, Chugalpura, Jhagra and Chamkani will be affected on Aug 11, 13 and 16 from 7am to 12 noon.

Pesco announced that the consumers of City-II, Nisata Road, Bank Road, Gaju Khan, Eidgah, Bala Ghari, Ghari Kapura, Sheikh Maltoon, Rashakai, Baghdada, Par Hoti and Shah Dandh will face inconvenience on Aug 11, 13 and 15 from 8am to 2pm.

In Mingora, the power suspension will affect the consumers in Marghuz, Mingora, Gulkadra, Takhtaband, Sengar, Bandai, Haji Baba, Saidu Sharif, Qamber, Kabal, Malam Jaba and Barikot, Charbagh, Baindara, Khwazakhela, Shawar, Chuprial and Matta on Aug 11 and 13 from 7am to 1pm.
