Power to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended from five to eight hours on different days in Peshawar and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, different localities of Peshawar, including CAA, PAF, MES-2, Old MES, Mall Road, Saddar Road and Sonehri Masjid will face power suspension from 7am to 12pm on August 7, 9, 11 and 12.

The consumers of 11KV Old Deh Bahadar, New Deh Bahadar, Old Kohat Road, Landi Arbab 1, 2, Nodya Payan, Peshatakhara, Sheikh Muhammadi, PAF Express, New Kohat Road and Dora Road Express will face power outage for the same hours on August 7 and 11.

The consumers of 11KV Kohati Gate, Qisa Khwani, Kareem Pura, Chowk Yadgar, Dabgari, Shoba, Kakshal, LRH, MES-1, Deans, Fort Jale, Kacha Gari, Hayatabad-2 and Karkhano will be affected on August 7, 9, 11 and 12 from 7am to 12pm.

The consumers of Bagh e Iram, Charsadda Road, Saleem Khan, City 2, Nisata Road, Eidgah, Doran Abad, Par Hoti, New Baghdada, Shankar, Col Jawad and Shah Dand will suffer for the same period on Aug 8 and those living in the areas of Radio Pakistan, Nishtirabad, Chughal Pura, NHA, Jhagra and Chamkani, will suffer only on Aug 9 from 7am to 1pm.
