Power to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended from 7am to 12pm in Peshawar areas due to maintenance work on the transmission lines on August 4 (Saturday).

According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, the power suspension would trouble the consumers of Nishtarabad, Lala, NHA, Chughal Pura, Jagra, Radio Pakistan and Chamkani.

The consumers of Old Deh Bahadar, New Deh Bahadar, Old Kohat Road, Landi Arbab-1,2, Nodeh Payan, Pashtakhara, Sheikh Muhammadi, PAF Express, New Kohat Road and Dora Road will also face inconvenience.

Meanwhile, Pesco surveillance teams disconnected 233 domestic and commercial connections for power pilferage during raids in Kohat Urban, Kohat Rural, Kotal Town, and College Town subdivisions.

It was stated that the drive against illegal use of electricity and direct hooks would continue in all circles.
