PTI’s politics to end today: Sabir Shah

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Senator Pir Sabir Shah has said that the politics of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf will end on Wednesday (today) as most of its nominees are facing dissident candidates in the elections and people will cast votes on the basis of party’s performance.

In a statement here on Tuesday, he said that PTI was not an ideological political party as most of its candidates were deserters of other parties.

He said that scuh people had nothing to do with problems of people but always reached the assemblies to serve their personal interests.

Mr Shah said that PTI chief Imran Khan did not believe in democracy and always wished ‘umpire’ to intervene.

He said that those people, who were hatching conspiracies against democracy, could not be called sincere political leaders.

He said that Imran Khan did not know politics of decency otherwise he would have never opted to use derogatory language against his rival politicians.

The nation, he said, knew well as to who deserved support in the elections to bring real change in the society. He added that Nawaz Sharif was still popular leader of the country.

Mr Shah said that the country was facing multiple challenges and it was need of the hour to join hands for its protection and development.

He added that there was no room for politics of confrontation but PTI leadership was bent upon disturbing the atmosphere.

The PML-N leader said that Muslim League was founder party of the country and it believed in development of the country and strengthening of democratic institutions.

He expressed the hope that all the institutions would continue to work in their constitutional domain and let the democratic system continue in the country.
