A high-level meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's caretaker Chief Minister retired Justice Dost Mohammad has decided to issue a show cause notice to Peshawar's deputy commissioner (DC) for his "irresponsible" statement, DawnNewsTV reported.

In a press conference regarding the arrangements for election day, the DC had said that "we have planned to this level that we have even prepared 100 coffins (kafans) in case of any untoward incident".
