Bilawal continues ‘promising’ campaign

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari says he would fight for the eradication of poverty, unemployment and inflation instead of doing the politics of mudslinging.

Speaking to the party workers at rallies in Chiniot, Jaranwala and Faisalabad city on Thursday, he said he was struggling to save Pakistan according to the vision of his mother. He said the PPP would fulfill the promises it made to people through its manifesto when it would be in the government.

The party, he said, had given jobs, shelters and monetary support to the people. It would lend interest to poor women so that they could play their role in the restoration of the economy, he promised.

“Would you join hands with me and become my army and strength?” Bilawal asked the crowd. He said the PPP would open food stores at the union council level.

“People in Punjab are standing with the PPP and giving message that the PPP can’t be eliminated. I will visit every nook and cranny of the country to spread this message of his party,” he said.

CHINIOT: As part of Caravan-i-Jamhooriat rallies, the PPP leader reached Chiniot’s Rajoa village outhouse of Syed Hassan Murtaza, a party candidate for PP-95, where he said the weakest democracy was better than the most powerful dictatorship.

He told a news conference that he had come out to mobilise the voters to be prepared for the big day. He said two parties had played havoc with Punjab by making false promises due to which the people were facing crisis.

The PPP would provide jobs, education and health facilities to the masses.
