HYDERABAD: An elderly man was killed and 16 others, including four women and a minor girl, were seriously injured when a speeding coaster overturned at Adeel Noonari village on Hyderabad-Tando Mohammad Khan road within the jurisdiction of Husri police station on Saturday.

Heerolal, 60, died on the spot and 16 others were taken to Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad.

Dr Khalique Memon, chief casualty medical officer at the hospital, said that two of them, Raju and Prem, were shifted to intensive care unit because they had sustained serious injuries to their heads.
