Makran electricity

THE residents of Makran division have been facing severe hardships as there has been no electricity for more than a week. Iran had been supplying electricity to Makran division earlier but, unfortunately, it has stopped doing so now owing to disagreements with Pakistan, which has not paid its electricity debts.

It has been a week and the public has protested by closing shops, banks and offices, but no one is ready to listen to the poor. The elections are almost here; if they won’t provide us with electricity how will the public turn up to vote?

The residents of Turbat ask the current Chief Minister of Balochistan and his cabinet to solve this crisis. The ones who want to get elected should provide electricity and basic facilities to their voters.
