NAB summons Imran in govt chopper case

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in the helicopter case on July 18.

A NAB official told Dawn that the accountability body had sent a notice to Mr Khan that he might receive by Friday (today).

NAB has launched an investigation into the illegal use of the KP government’s helicopters for 74 hours, causing a loss of government funds worth millions of rupees.

NAB started probe into the illegal use of government choppers in February and the former KP chief minister had also appeared before the bureau’s team in April in the same case.
