Dr Daud sworn-in as caretaker health minister

PESHAWAR: Dr Mohammad Daud Khan on Monday took oath as the caretaker health minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A statement issued from the Governor House said that Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra administered the oath to Dr Daud during a ceremony. Caretaker Chief Minister retired Justice Dost Mohammad Khan, provincial ministers, chief secretary and other officials also attended the ceremony.

The health portfolio was previously allotted to Akbar Jan Marwat. Officials said Dr Daud was inducted into the cabinet to give representation to the erstwhile Fata, which has now been merged into the province.
