THE leaked manuscript of Reham Khan’s upcoming book has created a hype. Imran Khan and his party colleagues are upset and are demanding a ban on the book’s publication.
If Mr Khan is innocent and Reham is levelling false allegations against him, why are the PTI leaders trying to stop the launching of the book? What are the secrets they are trying to hide from the public? If Imran is not involved in any activity described in the book, there is no need to worry about letting the book published and letting the people decide. If Reham is wrong, people will reject her words.
There is no concept of a private life and privacy of politicians. People have the right to know about the character of their leaders. It is one of the basic principles of democracy that if secrets of public office holders are unveiled, it cannot be declared an act of defamation.
This is not the first time that the PTI chairman is in the news because of any woman. Earlier, Gulalai made serious allegations against him
It’s time Mr Khan broke his silence and told the people about his viewpoint. otherwise his silence will strengthen the other side.

IT is strange that an unpublished book, which is in pdf form, has agitated some of Pakistan’s icons. According to news reports, a leaked pdf infuriated celebrities, who have filed a petition against the writer for the damages.
All cases are frivolous, since a pdf file is not recognised as a published book.
