KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan will announce its Monetary Policy Statement on Friday for next two months.

In the previous review, the central bank maintained its policy rate at 6 per cent in the wake of low inflation.

Since the government has been following the policy for higher participation of private sector in the economy, it is believed that the interest rate is likely to remain unchanged.
