Nawaz’s diatribe

THE leader of PML-N, Nawaz Sharif, has gone too far in spitting venom not only against the state’s institutions but also against Pakistan itself. By insinuating that Pakistan is responsible for the Mumbai attacks, he has committed an unpardonable crime.

It is relevant to point out that Altaf Hussain’s crime was not as serious as that of Nawaz Sharif. However, he was instantly censured and designated a traitor and his party removed him from the organisation and forced out of Pakistan’s political arena.

Nawaz deserves the same treatment, if not a more stringent reprimand for his perfidy and the animosity he has shown against Pakistan.
