Zardari, Shahbaz condemn Indian firing

LAHORE: Former president Asif Zardari and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned on Friday unprovoked firing by Indian forces on the Working Boundary resulting in civilian casualties.

Zardari condemned the Indian aggression, expressed his grief at martyrdom of civilians, and asked Islamabad to raise the issue at international forums.

Shahbaz said the firing at civilian population by Indian army was blatant violation of human rights, adding that Indians’ violations at the Line of Control in Kashmir and Working Boundary have crossed all limits.

He said Pakistan Army has the capability to give a befitting reply to every provocation and India should not remain in any misunderstanding about it. He said the whole nation is siding with the armed forces like a solid rock.
