STUDENTS particularly girls studying in Karachi University in the evening shift have to deal with a plethora of problems. However, of late they are putting up with non-functional streetlights.

The area around many departments particularly in the arts faculty, are in pitch dark after the sun has set. The girl students and female faculty in these departments have to negotiate their entry and exit in such circumstances.

This is a request to the university authorities to look into the matter.
