Sayab sustained multiple injuries and was pronounced dead in a hospital. The victim’s body was handed over to his brother, who told the police he will take the decision of initiating legal proceedings against the driver after the burial.

The car was taken out in order to drop an inspector of the Counter Terrorism Force home though it is not clear if the inspector was in the car at the time of the accident.
