Four uplift projects inaugurated in Kohat

KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Additional Chief Secretary Dr Shehzad Bangash opened four projects completed at a cost of Rs21 million under the divisional headquarters uplift and beautification plan here on Sunday.

He was accompanied by deputy commissioner Khalid Ilyas, MPA Ziaullah Bangash, additional deputy commissioner Sahibzada Najeeb and officials of line departments.

The projects include divisional offices complex, defence colony park and male and female parks in KDA.

Mr Bangash also inspected the ongoing work on improvement of old and new bus stands, and beautification of Jungle Khel and Bona Sharif springs.

On the occasion, he said that no compromise would be made on quality of work and completion of the projects on time. He directed the Water Supply and Sanitation Company to keep the city clean, dispose of waste on time and also launch public awareness campaigns.

He lauded the efforts of the district administration for beautification of Kohat.
