Shahdadkot woes

RECENTLY, I visited Shahdadkot, the most populated and largest town of Qambar Shahdadkot district, Sindh. There are number of rice mills in the town and it is the second largest rice market in Sindh.

Politically, it has been a PPP stronghold for the last three decades. I found the city market in a pathetic condition, roads broken, traffic jams everywhere. The town was full of dust, causing various diseases.

I observed several pictures of MPA Nadir Khan Magsi and MNA Faryal Talpur at many places. It was surprising that the town had their posters, while there was no development. The authorities should take action against public representatives who failed to develop their constituencies and facilitate their voters.
