TAXILA: Two persons were killed in separate incidents in district Attock on Wednesday.

Police sources said bullet riddled body of a man, who had been missing for the last nine days, was found from Ghazi Brotha water channel in limits of Hazro Police station.

Police sources said that 32-year-old Abdul Rehman, a resident of Ghorghusti, who had recently returned from Hong Kong, went missing.

On Wednesday, some passerby spotted a body floating in water channel and informed police.

Later, the body was retrieved and identified as that of the missing man.

In the second incident, a labourer fell from a tractor trolley and came under it near Nikka Afghanan on Mukhad road in Jand police area and was critically injured.

He was taken to THQ hospital but died while being shifted to DHQ hospital Rawalpindi.

Respective police have registered cases and started further investigation.
