PFF appoints Brazilian as head coach

LAHORE: Brazilian coach Jose Antonio Nogueira was appointed as the national head coach for the next three years, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) president Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat announced on Sunday.

Talking to reporters, Faisal said the hefty expenditure of the Brazilian coach will be borne by the Bahrain Football Association.

Hayat also announced that the daily allowance of national team players was double from USD 100 to 200.Meanwhile, president of Punjab Football Association Sardar Naveed Haider Khan said that representatives of 27 districts of the province, out of total 36 attended the meeting of the association here on Sunday.

And they all had showed confidence on him as president of the provincial football body.
