MARDAN: A man killed his sister-in-law and her alleged paramour in Toru Mera area of Mardan district here on Saturday, police said.

The preliminary investigations conducted by the Toru police station officials revealed that the accused, Tahir Khan shot dead his sister-in-law along with her alleged paramour aged 22 when he found them together inside a room in their house.

The accused fled the scene after committing the double murder.

However, the officials of Toru police station lodged FIR under sections 302 and 311 of Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of Hazrat Mohammad, father of the slain woman, against the accused Tahir Khan.

The police said that the woman was mother of two children.

After registering the case, the police said they had begun making efforts to trace out the murderer.
