KHUZDAR: Two people committed suicide in district Kalat on Sunday.

A Levies official said that a 22-year-old man shot himself dead with a pistol in the Amiri area of the district. He was identified as Abdul Rehman.

Levies personnel took the dead to hospital and later handed over the body to his family.

Another incident of suicide took place in Gazak sub-tehsil of Kalat district where 50-year-old Mohammad Alam ended his life.

The motive behind both suicide incidents could not be known so far. Investigation is in progress.
