Man, son shot dead for ‘honour’

PESHAWAR: A man and his son were killed while two others were injured when assailants allegedly opened fire on a passenger bus in an apparent incident of honour killing, police said here on Saturday.

A police official said five persons opened fire on a Charsadda-bound bus near the Motorway Bridge. He identified the slain as Amer and Sher Alam, residents of Nisatta Charsadda, while Haris and Wajid were injured. The official identified the attackers as Arshad, Tariq, Sajjad, Arif and Taj Mohammad, who are residents of Badhber area of Peshawar.
